So I think that I am doing something wrong. I see people defeat Japan so quickly as China. I have failed taking Ulan Bator the 2nd Round then I wanted to take Saporro from Japan but I only could send 3 Cav, and after that Alexander with Arty and Archers, but HOW do you take a city with lvl 3 Defenses with lvl 1 Arty. I just feep that I miss something becausr I seem to not play it correctly

If Alexander is medieval era then he gets a nice 50% bonus dmg to buildings, so use him and focus fire power on a weak tower spot, then go straight for the city. Also if you have a strong Alexander then you can try to bring multiple arty units. Also for normal units you need more then just three, not to mention if cavalry tore down fortifications with ease I'd finally understand why we get a flintlock I need the classical era

I used Alexander at Ulan Bator and after, but focused mostly on Japan, the Pacific and America until I got strong enough. Then I destroyed Ankor and India, followed by Persia, and Greece while mopping up the rest of America. By then I was Gunpowder Age, made peace with Rome and attacked Egypt. By then I was Industrial. Simply mopped up Rome and (if still alive) England with a few 4000 silver arty gen and other gens too.
