For air you can use göring, he is marshal and got enough lifes. if you spend a little on Rommel he also got much lifes (he don't got much lifes in the beginning). I remember that Montgomery was also bad in GoG

imo, Zhukov is kinda like Konev, they both have damage skills for different forces but their skills don't concentrate on one.
Manstein is the exact opposite, all of his skill are for tanks or universal.

Yamamoto can do Eisenhower's job just fine. Seriously. The other two I could maybe see somebody putting to good use, but it pains me that one of the fathers of my country is so bad.  |
