I've found a solution if you can't auto update next time or reinstall your phone. It's called Helium Backup. If you don't have a premium account, you must use Internal storage and transfer your file to another device (computer or laptop) after that. You can copy the file back to your phone later and restore it with the app. I'm not sure will it work if the game is updated or not. But if the game is still in the same version, I believe the app will work. I don't know... this kind of thing, trying to keep a save file... it's notorious for failing a hapless bystander. From what I've seen on this forum, the most likely way to successfully moving the save file is to also root your phone and give the backup app further access, etc... But... rooting your phone is extremely risky. Right, Jean-Luc Picard?

I rooted, installed a custom system and completely insured myself with all manners of tricks. But on the other hand i knew what i was doing when the time to root actually came, and the issue is not everyone knows so I'd rather suggest they fallow some steps and rules when they do stuff like that..
Moderated -by Jean-Luc PicardThe obligatory Root Disclaimer: Rooting makes your device more susceptible to viruses in the long run. You can also brick your phone while rooting.

Since you already rooted, I heard about an app called Titanium Backup. I don't know if it's better than Helium Backup, but you can compare the two for yourself and decide which would work for EW5.

I already use Titanium Backup , it's beyond useful but the thing is, i tried to re-upload my data with it and it came off as if the files themselves are corrupted. I only have one possible explanation and that's that the coding withing the game files themselves changed and it's most likely true because the game isn't really out yet on Android and is being worked on. .
