Okay, so Android got the 1.0.4 update, and the game itself doesn't start downloading anything at startup, so I gotta install the new APK and i don't wanna lose my progress!
Is there a way to transfer the saves?

I tried copying the data files upon the new instalation, but it seems the files don't correspond with each other..
I feel like an idiot for deleting the game and getting myself into this situation in the first place..

I cannot help you with this. any android users have an idea? I have this problem as well. ANdroid browser on bluestacks refuse to install. I don't want to try it and lose my items... |

I don't uninstall the old version and just install the new, my save is still there and the game is updated. I've just try it about 1 hours ago. Maybe it will help you in next update.

I don't plan to install the update just yet, even if it doesn't have new content, since (after restarting on the only device I can see everyday 'cause the other better one is hidden) I'm still at Classical Age.

I didn't get a prompt for the update , i got to download the new APK, and it can't be installed on top of the previous one.. As for the save, it is in the data files, i backed them up(just copied)from the Internal/SD>Data>Data>.EW5, and i can literally see my saves, both in the campaign and conquest , alongside my actual profile.. |

Indeed I am, i even tried through my PC, everything is there, every single bit of progress, and i can't figure out what's the problem, maybe the coding changed, I don't even know anymore.. I've found a solution if you can't auto update next time or reinstall your phone. It's called Helium Backup. If you don't have a premium account, you must use Internal storage and transfer your file to another device (computer or laptop) after that. You can copy the file back to your phone later and restore it with the app. I'm not sure will it work if the game is updated or not. But if the game is still in the same version, I believe the app will work.  |
