Depression sucks, man, I know. I've always put on a happy face while dealing with my own, but some people just can't do this. Wouldn't dream of judging you ;P

Been going through depression myself, you're not alone.
Don't misunderstand this "Be a man"
I don't mean like ignore your feelings, I mean it as "you do have it inside yourself". Being a man, you can allow yourself to be honest about your problems. A man who has problems is still a man, no matter what.
So for me, "Be a man" (if spoken in the right tone), helps me a lot.
I don't know if this would have a benefit for you, but I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to share something that could or couldn't help.

I had a major surgery around this time of month last year. I refused to take major drugs such as Oxycodone and morphine due to it possibly having negative effects mentally on the body. It was probably one of the most depressive moments of my life. It lasted for multiple weeks, even months. The way I was able to ease it was by acknowledging that no matter what, there is someone out there in a far worse position than you. I would see it as an opportunity to be grateful for what I have in life and try to limit my complaining.
And also, like Desophaeus said, you are not alone. I can't stress how important it is to remember that.

She told me the pillow thing. Eventually I got the PC back!

I mean relising stress by hitting somethjng that not going to break helps, aka kicking a football ball or hittimg a bed Hard physical work can be a productive way to get over anger, you get some healthy exercise and something gets done! I remembered my grandfather had a pretty nasty temper, but he prefers to express his feelings by chopping some wood. Even when he reached 68, he had no problems swinging a heavy axe and chopped a block of wood into two parts with just one blow. I gotta tell you I remember he used to have enough wood piled up for five cold winters to feed his old cast iron stove. Sometimes he would go hunting in his backyard if he was in the mood rather than chopping wood. Anyway, hard work can be healthy and helpful. Most people don't think about that solution to the anger problem.
