So I always see in the loading menu "... Germany has strong Armored Units..." so what would be other countries strenghts OR is it based on the unit looks so they are one Type ( Commonwealth, American plus some allies, French,Italian, German plus some axis, Russian plus some Comintern, Italian... )
AND When I play 1960 Conquest the units of enemies seem REALLY OP, so I know every Year has diffrent techs, but I have lvl 10 or 9 Tanks and one British Commando anihaliated it without troubles.
So what would be the levels of majors in harder conqests

In some hours I am going to test German Units in ww2 and cold war with Soviet British French and American ones

I imagine the British would have stronger navy. French might have stronger artillery.

I found out that UK has strong Destroyers, Italy has strong field and batalion artillery but this is just in 1939

Problem of Italy was their ridicolous bad military technology and instruments. One of the biggest mistake of germany was to give low importance to their main allies like Japan and Italy. Probably they would even make a war against them if Axis had won the war.

the French Army actually was better than the German one when Germany Invaded them, the only thing hindered France was that they were used to Trench Warfare and were not prepared to Face a mobile blitzkrieg when facing the Germans, which ,had Quantity on their side, the Italian Army had incompetent officers, Bad Military Tech and Incompetent Generals (Except for a few like Graziani, Messe and Badoglio), but that's because the Italians in WW 2 were a Naval Power, not a Land Power like Germany, Germany could not be blamed to give low importance to its allies, Japan was on the other side of the world and italy was only good at contesting the mediterranean (both were naval powers, Germany cant exactly expect Italy to have a very experienced army like theirs, although we are going off topic and I recommend you to not bring that up again as this is only a game, nothing exactly is perfect, even the famous game from Paradox Hearts of Iron IV has its own flaws.

French completely lost war in theyr mainland in bit more than one mounth, they got hight number of injures respect to the enemy and they where even directly supported by allies. Stay certain on the Maginot isnt even an exuse and even if this was, how in the love of history can u say that french did better than germans?

Ok guys you are invited to start a new thread if you want to debate historic events or start a new conversation and the like. Right now we are veering off topic, the creator of this thread is asking for comments on strength and techs as they relate to the game so we need to participate on that topic without derailing it into something else.
He who makes the thread decides what the topic is, everyone else has to stick to that wish or start as new thread with the topic they wish to discuss.
OT: Only few powers had tech bonuses,it would be interesting to see the complete list and if they change per era.
