So I have every princess except Victoria and Lan. And I'm trying to get Dumouriez in order to get those two princesses. However since that is taking longer than expected, should I get any more items? I have the war horse, snare drums, and 2 +6 supply tents.

Maybe cavalry pistol, armor, and saddle.
Well, they are not required but having them will surely help.
