So Ive been doing conquest 1943 or well trying. And so far I've screwed up as Russia, GB, and USA. Can anyone give me tips. I bought Medals and so far I've got some top tier generals (using the forum) Patton, Guderian, Gorovov, Rommel, Yamashita, and 2 of my eye covered generals at full capacity..ok so maybe i wasted a lot of money but hey it's a good game. So yeah tips on setups or a good way to start? And if anyone needs help with GoG not the pacific version I'm glad to help. Thanks.

If you have that many generals, these conquests should be pretty easy. In 1943 Russia, I would focus on defense against Nazis in the North, use Southern Russians to take over Romania, and focus more on Japan. GB should be able to hold their own/capture some German cities in both Africa and Europe. After the land territories of Japan have been taken, your defensive generals should start attacking Germany while the ones from Romania attack Africa. Idk how much help USA will be against Japan, so I would be prepared to take them down on your own.

I have spend some real money as well,I dont mind doing so because the game is fun and the devs deserve support. Your technology levels might be low and that hurts, also the game is much harder without the money/ressource wonders, and finally there is just a steep learning curve for newer players so even with good generals it takes a while before things are smooth and easy. Anyways,in the war path board there are at least a couple 1943 walkthoughs, mine was written a while back if you want to take a look here: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/240/1943-india-word-conqueror-conquestAlso what exactly went wrong with the previous played games, you run out of ressources to make units? your generals die? You get bored of the game and quit early?

Among the three countries you tried, I think Russia is easiest. For Russia, your concern is in the east because you have limited troops to stop Japan and your cities are very far from there. In the west, you should have enough troops to fight the Nazi. Watch out for Manstein on super tank popping out. He'll be very troublesome. USA is easier to defend but more difficult to invade Europe. If you find the Nazi is too strong, you can play defensively by making a stand at one city, building forts and artillery, letting the Nazi to come and get destroyed, then, counterattack.
Anyway, I think playing as Nazi can be easier in this era. According on your general line-up, you can build super tanks from Berlin and let Guderian, Patton, and Rommel command them. They are unstoppable.

1943 I found that Germany is the easiest. The trick with Russia is to not get overextended and clunk up your forces into two main groups, with the groups focus firing on generals and cities. In North Africa, you need to coordinate your units skilfully - but you should be able to do it with ease by putting on one or two of those godlike generals you have on the units down there. Remember to spare a few units to help guard Spain when the US invades (a few motorised infantry should be fine) with the rest of your units stationed in Europe to go and assault Britain.

As Russia Germany was occupying a large number of my forces and USA did nothing but attack Spain then get stumped on their way to Paris while GB was getting spammed by paratroopers. And I was relying on China to hold back Japan (big mistake) and Japan just went around them and by the time I realized they did I was already surrounded. Ik it was my fault. As GB I was spammed by paratroopers and I just raged. And as USA I couldn't get past Paris cause they were bombing me and I lost most commanders getting to Paris

For Russia, you can send some fast moving motorized infantries to China major cities that are under Japan's attack (e.g. Nanking or Shanghai). This allow you to quickly take the captured Chinese cities and start building troops from there. You might consider building some land forts near the cities in advance so that you will have enough firepower to take the cities back and defend further attack.
For UK, you can prevent German paratroopers by building land mines. AI cannot drop a paratrooper on a grid with land mine so you should check which grids are within German airforce range and either place land mines or units those grids.

I won 1943 as the UK. England has cities all over the place. Mainland Britain is really hard to defend. Try to place mines (blocks paratroopers) and artillery to hold from the Germans. In Africa, hold until all of the German generals there are dead. Once clearing Africa, try to move into the Balkans and Italy. While, at the same time try to capture Paris. In Asia, take Bangkok, and move to Hanoi. From there, Singapore and Jakarta. At the same time move troops into China to fight against the Japanese. That's what I did.
