I seen that health regain post in European war 4 so I figured I do the same for world conqueror 3. Health regeneration in WC3 depends on technology level, city rating plus any skill bonus a general might have.Health regeneration happens only in cities. Example one, current regen technology is at level 5
In the folliwing pic the city is rated level 4 since my technology is level 5 then the total health for the city becomes 9 ( 5+4=9) You can see the upper left corner health regen display a 9.
Now let's upgrade health regen technology by one level, we are now level 6. Cologne the same city previously shown now reflects an additional point for a total regen of 10 per round (4+6=10)
Let's take a look now at the AI Russian city of Minsk, it is a city level 3 and is showing a regen of 6.From that we can deduce that the Russians have a lower regen technology than us,it has to be level 3. But if we take the city over and since we own the city the health regeneratiin of that same city goes up by 3 points because of the higher tech. So just because you see a higher or lower city regeneration on an ally or enemy city it does not mean you will have the same benefit after you conquer it.It can be lower or higher depending on your own technology.
Now the effect of general health regen adds to the city regen but it is not a shown value. For example Goring is now stationed in Minsk he has a health regen skill of 3 which means his skill allows him to regain and additional 6 points of health per round.
In the lower left corner you can see the ion gun counter of turn 3 with Goring health at 265 hp,since the city regen 9 and he has a bonus regen of 6 so his total regen per round should be 15 (9 from city and 6 from skill) so next round he should be at 265+15=280 HP Let's see if that happens: Sure enough next turn Goring is at 280 health as predicted:

Wish they would have allowed health regen like 1 hex around all cities.

Wish they would have allowed health regen like 1 hex around all cities. Yes, agree. I won't have my generals sitting in a city in 1950 and 1960. They regen 13 HP per round but have chance to get nuked for 400. Btw, just wanna add that the max level for supply is 8 and it gives +8.

I have a question about ports. I'm playing as Italy in 1943, and I sent my battleship with Ricardi to dock in the port in southern Italy (Level 1), and I noticed that it didn't say anything about supplies. Do ports not heal damaged ships?

Apparently only cities can heal and I guess that means all units except ships can heal.
Kanue what exactly is the 8 hps regen number? Cause in the pic shows Goring is healing 9 from the city and 6 from his own skill.Did you mean 8 is the maximum that can be added to the city base regen number,in which case 8+5=13 max regen number before general skill added?

So if a city's base supply is +5 then with the max level of supply upgrade, you'll have +13 (5 + 8)

Not sure why but Easytech decided ships dont need to regenerate health. I didnt see any recovery unless someone can figure out a way to do this.

The only reason I see is that I can't get my damaged ship to a city.
