I told someone that I've been to Europe. He said: "Cool! So you got to see the frontline?" Me: Him: "Well, we're fighting the Germans, right?" Me: w h y a r e y o u h e r e "Of course I have! There's nary a Ford or Chevrolet past the line, the Mercedes and BMWs are overwhelming us in the Left flanks!"

A conversation in my Economics class shifted from Economics to history and eventually to WW2, so my professor asks "does anyone know what happened in WW2?" and one guy's like "the whole world fought, its a World War. Remember?" I legit wanted to kill myself! That one way to make a fool out of yourself in class

That one way to make a fool out of yourself in class The problem is, most people like that even realise that they are making a fool out of themselves. they're actually trying hard to make the class laugh, but in reality they're just "making a fool out of themselves" (like you said).

But some of them aren't actually trying to make the class laugh. Some are just that ignorant and have no idea how stupid they are. Once I was in a history class and someone asked "What's a dictatorship" when I menchioned it when I was answering a question (a rather obvious one that no one else in the class of 20+ people got)...and the worst part was I used dictatorship instead of a more accurate term because it was simpler for people to understand. I legit felt like the only person in that class who knew anything related to the subject. It was so painful and irritating been the only person that could actually understand what the teacher was saying and answer the questions. My school is full of idiots. I also corrected the teacher a few times which she didn't like much (but she was a unfair teacher anyway).

I also corrected the teacher a few times which she didn't like much (but she was a unfair teacher anyway). wow, now that's a horrible class! (Minus you). I remember when I was in seventh, we had geography class. And in 90% of the explanatory classes (which are held whenever a new chapter of any subject starts) in the class of 35 people only me and the class teacher would be the ones who would be ones "speaking" (in the sense that she would ask questions and I would be the only one answering them). So at this point my class becomes jealous of me (facepalm#1). Then during lunch break one day a few of the girls come to me and this conversation takes place. (Now I'm obviously not going to write their names so I'm just writing G#1 and G#2) G#1 "so, do you know the geography teacher personally?" Me "no?" G#2 "is she your neighbor or something" Me "no?" G#1 "so she must be your a part of your family" I was tired of this pointless conversation so I replied "I don't know her AT ALL, what's the point of asking me these questions?" G#1 "so why are you the only one who keeps replying her during the class" (facepalm#2) Me "because I read the chapter beforehand" So yeah, sometimes even situations like this can happen.

Nah, because usually the class is filled with other fools to revel in the "witty joke" that the dude told

My violin teacher was teaching the class 1812 overture which was written to celebrate France being defeated inthe Russian Campaign. He then went on talking about how Napoleon was an evil dictator, a bad general and it was a good thing for France that he was removed from power. Lol My elementary school history teacher (in New Jersey btw) once told us that the Mexican-American War began in 1812. I just fell outta my chair.

I'm sure there would be someone in the world who would think that "Germany was responsible for ww1" Facepalm I think the real problem is that most people don't know that WW1 took place and couldn't care less about it. Last year I'd sent a series of Whatsapp messages on my class group summarising the WW1 chapter for a test (with a few extras). Reaction: How bored must you be to read the entire chapter?
