Im now in medieval age, lvl 42.
Under 40 lvl I beat all when come except one ( max lvl, where I can win if repeat 3-4 times. )
after 41 lvl I can't win any of them, enemy after battle stay like 1/4 HP
gens 30 lvl : ( alex, barb, joan linc ) ( suleiman, saladin, hanibal) ( nub, robin, moct ) and cleopatra on catapult

You should try your best to develop to the Discovery Age so that you can give your generals the 4th star ( but not to the blues ones, unless you have medal Jackson). Also use your best items on the generals which are Best for that Invasion ( the right type vs other). Also don't Sorry because those of us who are farther can't complete Invasions too.

In addition I noticed that somethimes the invasions that i cannot finish after a couple of hours with some new tries all in a sudden are victorious..
Ergo: keep trying now and then

Now after few days get Discovery Age. Now am on 46 lvl and have alex, linc,sule, saladin, nob, kater and cleopatra on lvl 4.
Duno why but enemy get 1+ lvl up from me I see machine on battles like hanibal, napoleon... and when play easy one lvl 46 just left 1 general ( strongest one who almost oneshoot my gens, on 4/5 hp )
Try more tactic to put items on another generals and chose another generals for same invasion but nothing help, just enemy are too strong like they horse general do 2x more dmg to my general.
