What do you guys think of the skill? Having this skill on a general feels like a waste of a skill slot. There are sea missions but I don't feel like we see them enough to justify having this skill. .org/image/qe7bd7pml/] [/url]

Robin Hood 2nd skill is poor too, when I play with ( from 1 to 3 era ) I never got any dmg from artilery to reduce it. So it's waste like Nelson. I hope there will be better arty gens or we are kinda unlucky. :-)

Naval gens in WC3 are hampered by more than skills IMO.
I noticed this as well. While I guess it's unfair to land generals since they have an Identical skill, I think that navigation should be stronger. In particular, there should be a stronger purple version for top-tier generals like Yi-sun sin, to differentiate them from weaker navals like Columbus.

I too feel the skill is bad. It's just a naval version of Rumor, and we don't fight in the sea that often. At least, it should have a higher trigger chance to make it on par with Rumor skill.
And, I find 'Shelter' skill very useful since my archer generals are usually picked off by artillery from 3 hex away.
