It's generally agreed that Nobunaga is the best archer general to buy from the tavern. Lets say we want to get a 2nd archer general and not counting Washington. Nelson and Yi-sun-sin are the other purple archers we can pick Who should we get? .org/image/vknh3n531/] .org/image/ap16se8vx/]

Yi Sun Sun. Armor Master and Bugle are more useful.

Nelson. We will have 3+ archers, and might have Blucher.
BTW anyone want to wait for Li Hongzhang? He will be an Arch Leader with Leadership.

Nelson. Will have a range of 3 hexes at 6 star and that will give him a great edge over other archer generals.

Since Yi-sun sin will maybe get Hwarang skill "archery" (80% more damage to archers) Yi-sun sin will be an archer killer, and thus in an actual VS, Yi-sun sin would kill Nelson by getting in close (particularly if run by computers ) Am I the only one annoyed that Hwarang is a medieval unit, so the Yi-sun sin we buy will never be on the national Korean unit. What kind of game design is that?

What kind of game design is that? Against Nelson I think it would be pretty even. On nelson's turn he would be able to attack yi sun sin without getting attacked back which evens out with the extra damage yi sun sin would deal on his turn.
