Haha, in that last map, Im lucky. If I could not strike a bargain, I would have supported GRE with ION, so I believe Turkey would fail for the second time to take the Greeks. However the alliance with a trustworthy Turkey allowed the problem to not only be solved, but the movement of A GRE to fight elsewhere.
Three points about Switzerland.
1. While many are German speaking, the Swiss speak a couple languages, including a southern minority of Italian. So I have a smaller but still legitimate claim. Heck, do the germans even have Alps? That may be Austrian only.
2. I had less access to SCs, while Germany had plenty. In fact, the gamebook considers SWI to be an common Italian territory, which the Pope will always argue over.
3. Less than 22 years later, Benito Mussolini in our timeline came to power. He wanted a revived Roman Empire, and Switzerland was a roman region for 600 years, starting before the Empire was even born.

Out of curiosity... where did you find the gamebook for 1900? The only place I know of is a website that is now down.
All other places that has a link for 1900 that I have seen so far all leads back to that dead site.
(I definitely remember that #2 you mentioned from that pdf file)

I meant I read the linked players guide. I have not purchased a physical copy, and I think I only read the links on this website. I imagine what I read is accurate, but I should have been clearer.

I don't think there was ever a physical copy of it. >.> It was a pdf hosted on Diplom.org's extended database. I'm talking about where did you find it on the internet. Which link did you used? Any link I have tried has lead to a dead end lately. I wanted to read it again but hadn't the luck for it.
