Well we totally forgot that we still had to do the mandatory "you were a ______ ally/enemy" part. So this is the place where you can do it.
I will post mine later.

EOG statements (end of game) are not required in Diplomacy but it is a traditional thing to do in those games.

Well the game only lasted for 1/2 years so we can't say how things turned out but... Sultan Stonewall Jackson of the Ottoman Empire, I suppose you were alright, and if the game lasted longer you would have been quite big, but Archduke Laurent de Gouvion managed to persuade you to betray me (at least for a turn) and that greatly delayed what would have helped you expand. Archduke Laurent de Gouvion of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, You were a good opponent and you did your best, even managed to persuade Sultan Stonewall Jackson . Good job to that. Kaiser Singlemalt of the German Empire, You were a great opponent who knew what to do. Good job persuading President Napoleon Bonaparte to join you, and our chats were, in my opinion, ... interesting. Your plans for peace with me fails as 1) You don't trust me anyway and 2) There's nothing in it for me and you were going to attack me anyway. Lord Frederick the Great of the British Empire, You were my best ally in this game and a great one too. Too bad the game ended before much happened, I might have been able to write more. President Napoleon Bonaparte of the French Empire, You weren't much of a threat to me, but here are some things you should improve on: Be wary in case you spill the beans in group chat/game's main thread. Avoid constantly having yelling contests with enemies. Avoid threatening allies, no matter how suspicious, for it will only encourage them to turn against you. Pope Imperial RomeBall of Italy, As like Lord Frederick the Great and Sultan Stonewall Jackson , I could have said more if the game lasted longer. Thanks for feeding us info anyway.

My turn Der Kaiserreich, yeah I'm working on that thing. Also I never really had any contact with you and whatever we had was only the division of Germany (which never really happened haha!) But you were going good. Stonewall Jackson, never had any contact with you. Can't say much except that your stab on Austria was totally predictable. A/T can't really work. Imperial RomeBall, you were a decent ally untill you convoyed back to your mainland. I actually wanted you to keep fighting with Turkey which later backfired thanks to you allying with him. Laurent de Gouvion, your opening move was pretty bad I will admit, you could've easily gotten Rumania in the start which could've changed the game for you. The army in Bosnia never really made any sense to me (it could've been used somewhere else?) But you held on and that was good. Frederick the Great, I don't know what to say! Well in the start your idea of "let's all kill Germany!!!!!" was looking decent to me but I was continuously talking with Kaiser Singlemalt so your plan never worked. Also your messages saying "you will regret this stab" were a bit unnecessary. I never had any intention to attack Germany. Pretty much everyone knew the stab was coming (I guess?) And lastly, the real ally, Germany Singlemalt. You were a genuine ally. I never had any intention to stab you. You did a great job holding on that Russian horde on your border. The war with England/Britain was also good but had I taken over the Channel and the nearby seas we would've definitely landed our troops in London. Lastly Quintus Fabius, the GM. The problems with the orders and stuff were fine but your sudden disappearance was 100% unexpected.

Preface: I will not criticize anyone for inactivity, as everyone entered their orders and only a very few were as online as I, so clearly this is normal. Tsar Der Kaiserreich , You were a good Ally. You executed multi-national offensives, and were willing to negotiate with what appeared to be your enemy (Turkey, not me) Kaiser Singlemalt , It was a bit of a weird relationship, but you must be commended for trying to mend the rift between me and napoleon, even though it was actually too late. Archduke Laurent de Gouvion - Our relations were very quiet, but I had no designs on you. It is unfortunate that you were the first target of the Seventh coalition. Caliph Stonewall Jackson , You were a faithful ally and reasonable player. I would have had no problem with the papacy declaring war on the porte, but instead we struck an acceptable alliance. Imperial RomeBall , Stop pretending you are the pope, we all know you were actually a king. You should have been more backstabby, and now that everyone knows you can, you have wasted your chance. For shame! Prime minister Frederick the Great , You were a good ally. patient and loyal, I imagine our alliance could have gone far. Rule Britannia! "President" Napoleon Bonaparte You were my first ally. You threatened from the beginning, and it only got worse. I in fact was allied with England longer than you knew, but it was a tough decision and occurred after your betrayal. I was going to play this when it became obvious, but the game ended. Anyway, we Italians do what is right. If you think we can be bullied into compliance, well....

Italy Imperial RomeBall England and Italy are always allied against France, its totally predictable. Even in my games as either of I or E the first thing I do is to send the other a message to be allied against "the blue blob in the middle". Also, reason I wrote this and tagged instead of quoting is because I'm a layman. Me is as dead as a dead meme.

In one famous 1900 game won by Russia, the France/Italy defensive alliance was able to hold its ground against Britain/Germany/Austria's combined attacks while Russia was expanding on the other side of the map. F/I/R alliances are found to be extremely stable in comparison to other types of triple alliances. Besides the point is... (more true on the 1900 map than the standard map) is that any combination is possible if the players are in the mood for it. Don't make any assumption about what alliances can or can't work on the 1900 map. There's no stalemate line on the 1900 map either.

Reading the guidebook when this started, I found that the normal tactic for Italy is to distract France. I regretted my mistake, but stayed loyal until approached by the Saxon Prime Minister after his being backstabbed. Sometimes I avoid quoting, as you can tell this time I did not.

I actually knew that you'll be killing me anyway, that's why I supported you to Switzerland. And essentially kept you as a puppet state (#meissorry) for the bigger part of the game.

Hmm. What is the strategic gain from giving me an extra city Napoleon Bonaparte ? Keeping me complacent I guess. It would become clear in one or more turns, that I refused the status of puppet. I was massing 3 armies in the north. Since Milan is not on the border, and can support Switzerland, It would take you and Singlemalt at least 2 turns to reduce Switzerland, by which point I would have 2-3 armies depending on whether I still had the province. As for the south, my one fleet would probably have attacked your empty SC. I assume I would gain no build from this, but whatever. Then my other fleet would support it in a westward assault, or at least a defense. You had a lot of troops available in the south. Its quite possible you are right about taking the fight into Italy (one of your final threats) but I care not for survival. Hopefully Britain Turkey and Russia would be able to eliminate the Franco-german offensive capability, but I would go down fighting whatever the case.

When i joined a lot of alliances were made and i was a major target.. stilli was hoping to survive.. i was writing a phaseby phase "diary" and send it to our gm for his enjoyment and for latersharing.. i tryto post it here: " I really hope, you can keep your indepence and enjoy your game master role.. To spice it a bit up and for later release I will try to submit now and then some story line seen from my perception.. Hope you enjoy it but dont share info wioth others till I am out of the game Diary of the Kaiser Berlin 02-01-1900 After a long struggle within my own country it is time to find out what is going on in Europe. The 3 armies and 1 fleet occupying my major provinces were trained well and were eager for some action. It is clear that we need more “lebensraum” and that Denmark, Belgium and The Netherlands are no stand for my troops. Swiss should be mine since they do speak German and also like “apfelstrudel”. But before I was able to make my invasions plans and victory speech, my diplomats and spies asked permission to speak. Despite the fact that these rats should be exterminated instead of bringing bad news I let them speak….. And they told me that almost all surrounding big powers were planning to invade my Reich.. They had no inland problems and were plotting big invasion plans together for many months now…. The British Prime Minister did not agree to speak with 3 of my loyal diplomats and it was only after the 1st manoeuvres in spring 1900 that Gunter finally was ordered to the PMs headquarters. He was partly honest and even was so arrogant to admit he, France and Russia were planning to divide my great Reich. Moreover, the French, these “fromage”-eating traitors, were trying to convince their pro-British moves were in my interest; “do they think we are ignorant?”. Despite that every strategist could draw easily that Italy will be one of the other major enemies for France they gave away Swiss openly for the whole world to see. I must say a great piece of diplomacy by the Pope. I send Heinrich to the Pope to congratulate him and explaining that an alliance with B/F will not work for him and that he should use the favour of Swiss by the France as present and now focus on an alliance with me. I could assure for him Swiss SC and due to my alliance with AH assure a friendly AH. Whether the Pope will listen to reasoning and stop his suicide by helping B/F coalition is not sure. Next came Rudolf back from the Archduke, who seems friendly. Since he admitted trying to make an alliance with Russia I could not trust him completely and therefore I agreed with the DMZ in Tyr-Boh-Sil. I tried to convince him the only way to survive was keeping not only a DMZ but for offensive alliance with main goal at the start Warsaw. He responded positive but whether this is the truth we have to see.. I was very disappointed the Tsar, probably well massaged by the British PM and his France puppet, was part of dividing my Reich. Despite honest discussion an alliance with me made more sense, he disagreed to form an alliance but agreed in DMZ Pru-Sil. Whether he will keep this agreement we are not sure. I did not include Sweden in this negations and will try in fall to bounce his try to occupy Sweden so het get 1 SC less after the 1st play year. I explained that the British fleet in mid-Atlantic sea will go to the Suez canal and that this will annoy Turkey. The Sultan cannot be allied with Russia and Britain at the same time. Russia cannot afford a G/AH/T alliance against him. Hopefully this Tsar has some brains and some balls to stand up against the smart PM. Turkey did not know that in 1900 the Suez Canal was opened and I pointed out this thread. I invited him to talk with me after the moves next fall in which he could see what happened. Whether the British fleet in mid Atlantic Sea would occupy Brest (a French home SC which was free to grasp) or get into the Suez Canal what will ruin Turkies meditarian plans. Dear diary I feel sad I was late at the party and couples already were made. However, nothing is finished yet. Lets hope some leaders have some brain left and the balls not to follow again a British supremacy game. Read more: european-war-4.boards.net/conversation/2020#ixzz4VZUIcXcP

Dear Diary, After fall 1900 all was clear.. except 1 thing (The French) Indeed the Brittish bastard made a pact with Russia against me and they were closing in.. Also the french was allies with Italia and Brittain, but the did not move against me. he helped Italy in Swiss, gave brittain Portugal and did not fight at all... My only hope was to comvince AH and Turkey that Russia is a thread for them and that Russias cooperation with Italy and brittish is hurtfull for the Sultan. They did agree in an offensive pact with the following .org/image/djaybbhw9/]

also I agreed with france to keep each other in the loop and agreed with Italy not to fight but that he had not betray his french friend. It partly worked want after spring moves... both Russia and Brittain who did not want to allie and openly explained i was their target felt betrayed by the others and wanted to work together.. France feeling strong asked even for an anti russian/brittish coalition... I am not sure whether this is possible without 1st move immediatly stab So i aksed AH and Turkey to not stab each other (especiall the move of AH to use Bud into Rum instead of Ser what i proposed was not that smart since now viena and Bud were targets... I asked whether they wanted france in and proposed these moves: Read more: european-war-4.boards.net/conversation/2020#ixzz4VZVTanKr.org/image/yy6brnx21/]
