Hi guys. I finally entered the Gunpowder Age.
Now I have to choose who will be promoted immediately and who will be waiting for some time as don't have enough medals for now. My most powerful general is Nobanuga I assume (if speaking about the impact into the win of the team in a battle) but I am thinking whether it is reasonable to promote Nobanuga in Gunpowder Age at all. He will lose his second shoot. Yes, he will receive (and continue receiving will leveling up) HP, attack and deff buffs but how soon will he regain his shooting power.
So, maybe somebody is using Nobanuga and have experience... please advice shall I wait for Industrial Age with his promotion to 5 and 6 star at once or better to promote him as soon as possible.

I am pretty sure that lv 50 Nobunaga on lv5 is much stronger than lv40 of him. So I'd say 'yes' to upgrading him. A harder questions is when. What I did was to gave higher priority to generals with good skill at unit lv5 and lower to those with good lv4 unit skill. My Nobunaga was among the lasts to be upgraded. But that depends on your line up as well. If Nobunaga is the core of your team (which is not the case for me since I mainly use him to apply debuff) then you might want to upgrade him first.
FYI, Nobunaga stat at lv40 and 50, no equiptment. Lv40: HP 1175, Atk 534, Def 133 Lv50: HP 1645, Atk 706, Def 196

I'll upgrade him after main tanking generals. Thanks for his statistics at lv50!

It seems that stat gain from lv 51-60 is marginal. This may be a good thing otherwise much of the game content would be trivial.

Another thing that means is the main reason a general upgrades to lvl 6 now is the new skills. If the new skill is not good or we dont like it compared to the pervious skill than general should not be upgraded to lvl 6. Like catherine, while at lvl 6 she he gains skill that does more damage to archers I prefer keeping her at lvl 5 because of the skill that does more damage to cavalry.
