Amazon Kindle version, just so you all know.
So I just bought the Golden Staff (in Battle of 3 emperors with Fatimah as the purchaser), and thought "Let's try this out."
Load up Chain the Beast, give Sophia the Staff and also On War (because it can't do any harm, can it?), and note that she is level 8 and just short of halfway to level 9.
Grind, grind, grind. Keep on checking back. Almost there... almost there....
Check back again. She is LEVEL TEN and maxed out. I understand that on achieving level 10 you max out on it at once because that's the highest, but still... what happened to level 9?
Because of the checking back, I am as sure as I can be that I didn't just grind her all the way through Level 9. OR at least I think I'm sure.
I'm certainly not complaining, but... wow.
One thing is for sure; the Golden Staff works amazingly fast, and I can seriously see myself buying up the rest of the slots and buying myself some competent training generals, even if only for the fun of seeing how they work in combat. I might even go for a couple of Admirals, to increase my yield on the Trafalgar Grind. (Sure it seems a lot of work, but I have ways of integrating this grind into my daily routine that make accumulating large numbers of medals not so much of a chore.)
Another interesting error also recently occurred. Over the past few weeks, I have been medal farming with the Trafalgar Grind. I have that saved in the lower right position, and until last night (when I finished it), I had Battle of the Three Emperors saved in the upper right. Sometimes after exiting Trafalgar Grind, I would touch the screen to go back into the Grind save, and Battle of the Three Emperors would come up. I could avoid this a bit by tapping on the Trafalgar area a few times before actually touching the corner to load the game, but what gives here?
