*checks the internet* Oh... they established a red, white, blue flag in 1937 but they did used to have two different possible flags before that. Dutchmen, that is weird... it's like rednecks waving the rebel stars and bars flag in place of the actual American flag... Hmm, I'm a real American but even that is odd to me, waving a flag from someplace that stopped existing for something 185 years. *shurgs* Maybe the Netherlands and the Southeast America should merger into an untited region of USA.

Netherfreek's avatar is the flag of the House of Orange i believe, it was used prior as the Dutch flag prior to the Napoleonic Wars when Napoleon changed the Dutch flag to make it more alike the French Flag (Made the bottom light blue bar darker and the top orange bar red).

It was incorporated, but it was a client state prior to its annexation. And yes, it was forced by France.

I'm gonna be lazy now, basically mostly er... from the Mangireb to the Bering. There... that should cover whatever comes up.  Edit: Just to be clear (that's West/Northwest Africa to the eastern tip of former USSR which did had sorta a cresent in their red flag) |
