Hi! I'm having trouble with the 1st Scottish Campaign. I have the generals Alexander (Lvl. 2), Pachacuti (Lvl. 2), Robin Hood (Lvl. 2), Hannibal (Lvl. 2), Leonidas (Lvl. 1), Huo Qobing (Lvl. 1), and Cleopatra (Lvl. 2). I have 1925 medals and 24450 coins as well as Princess Maria. When I played it, I broke my army into 2 corps and sent one North and the other South. The Southern corps was overwhelmed and the Northern didn't arrive before my allies fortress was destroyed. How do you recommend I play this level? Do you recommend more generals and if so, which? More items, which ones?

I just got Princess Jenny if that changes anything.

Two stage plan might work well. 1. To get an item form a market. All available forces to that place, get an item, loose battle. 2. Equip the item . Only one of the generals (may be two Hannibal and Huo Qobing) goes to destroy Richard, others to destroy the walls (preferably Cleopatra and Alex or Robin Hood) and help Wallace (the rest). I would like to recommend choosing a general not on a tactical but on a strategical level. First decide, what kind of team do you want (based on cavalry, infantry or archers), then you can gather individual characters keeping that conception in mind.

Leonidas and Pachacuti are weak generals, you have to buy better generals in order to win this level. And try to upgrade your generals to 2 stars. I won this mission by sending two horse generals to the north and all the rest to south.

Blitz the south castle with all of your generals, use your basic troops to hold your base, then once the south castle falls, move north, kill the enemy general, and take the building. Don't worry about the north castle, it falls pretty much every time for me, but Wallace will keep the south one alive.

Despite my scottish heritage, I don't remember a strategy. Leonidas is indeed weak. From the start of the game he is almost the same as a basic generic unit. Moctezuma is a stronger version of Pachacuti, 40,000 coins in 2 tier. If you build Kiev in empire mode, very easy to farm coins. If you get 3 stars you get big reward but the 20 missions are locked and can't be done again, so send your weaker generals based on whether they survive or not. I send Leonidas in to see what the enemy is

Using a combination of the strategies mentioned and Montezuma, I managed to complete this one with 3 stars. Thanks!
