there are some generals in my group I don't want to upgrade to 6 stars. Bismarck I feel like the new skill gained is not worth losing the old one. A artillery generals main purpose is to target fortifications, not targeting cavalry. This skill just goes against what Bismarck is meant to do. The lost of his pervious skill that does not let enemy attack back is a pretty big deal. He's gonna lose a lot of survivability and be less effective now since he's losing more HP. Catherine This one is a matter of preference. The upgrade turns her into a archer killer but I prefer to keep her a cavalry killer. Washington I felt moments where I think I should upgrade when targeted by many archers. The current skill even at 30% no enemy attack it seems to activate more often than that for me, so it's pretty useful. There also the fact upgrading costs 2000 medals. I don't think this is an effective way to spend my medals on a skill I might or might not want.

Regarding Washington upgrade. It's awesome when he damages powerful enemy Archer general giving him 1400-2000 hirpoints and receiving only 100-200. Those 30%... You was planning to buy Nobunaga... he is the first to shoot (to debuff and high chance that there will be no any retaliation). After that Washington finishes the guy. That how it works in my team Always liked that. So definetely upgrade him, You won't regret

Bismarck: no a good choice at all. Cath, as you've said is a matter of interest of having which kind of killer. Washington... the problem is if he gets debuffed it's not fun.

Massive, post-update necro-bump!
7* Catherine: Regains some anti-cav capabilities, but her primary anti-archer bonus remains.
7* Bismarck: Still, no good choice. He can now target troops in general, especially cav units, but his survivability will be compromised.

It almost always comes down to medals. Spend on Catherine or Titan axe? So many priorities. Up to each player to figure out best bang for your buck

I still keep my Bismarck at lvl 50 and will continue to do so. His main aim is to attack without retaliation and to place Rumor whenever possible. He is still good against walls. I don't think that other bonuses are worthy of investing in them. And since he is a purple general these investments are considerable..

I'm in no rush to upgrade mine either and will be trying to complete the game with him at 5* too. For comparison here he is at 5* & 7*: I've just remembered when posting these that the 2nd pic has General too, so without that he's only at 3120 health. c3k medals for 450 health, 60 attack & 20 defence doesn't seem worth it to me.
