I think I used to get missions around 12 hours or so. Now I only get them every 24 hours. Does anyone else have this problem?

I do as well, I'm not sure what's going on with it though. I'm level 51 in Discovery Age.

What I usually do if missions do not show up when I suppose to
1 Check internet connection
2 Restart program
3 play other thing like invasion, attack, or battle
I notice that the missions do not show up exactly 12 hours after the previous ones. There is some lag so it's actually 12+ hours. If the step 1-3 do not work, I wait 10 mins and try again.

What time does your missions come? Is it the same for everybody? Or different

It's 12 hrs + some lag after the previous round of missions popped out.
For example, if missions appears at 9.00 AM this morning, it will appear again AFTER 9.00 PM. That lag can be a from a few minutes to an hour.
Then if you're busy and end up checking the missions at, let's say 10.45PM, then the next round will be AFTER 10.45 AM on the following day.
And in order to make the missions appear, you need to have internet connection at the time when the mission's suppose to appear.
Well, this is entirely based on my experience.

I hate this because right now I have 14 generals which is enough to do 4 missions, but I usually get 5 on average (sometimes 6). But sometimes I forget to collect, so no new missions show up and I have to do the ones I have. In total that's like 12 hours + (2-3 hours) + (2-3 hours) + 12 hours and that's like 2 or 3 days for 2 sets of missions for me. |

Sometimes I just check out the game so that the missions will appear then forget to complete them. Yet, the next round of missions still pop out 12+ hours after the previous. e.g. just this morning I had 6 missions that were still on progress, and when the time came, I had a total of 16 missions (10 new and 6 from the previous). |

I can confirm. Couple times I have woken up, checked my missions. Whatever ones I have not activated for reward is still there, but new missions have arrived.
