Hey guys, so, I've been playing this game for quite a while, and after multiple restarts, I had decided to buy Manstein and rally my way through to the aliens. I got very far in that run (I believe I was level 68 or something), when I decided to buy a new phone. Now I am faced with the dilemma of getting my old game to my new phone. My old phone (Sony Xperia Z1 Compact) is rooted, I have installed Titanium Backup and managed to save my *Auto corrected* multiple times by simply saving the app. So I have full access to my old game state. Problem is my new phone (Sony Xperia X Perfomance), which runs Android 7 Nougat. In order to root Nougat, I would have to unlock my bootloader, and even though Sony provides me with an elegant way to do this, it would void the warranty (yes, rooting does the same, but you used to be able to reset your phone, effectively unrooting the phone, through which a repairer wouldn't know you ever rooted).
So I am trying to get my old, rooted phones state to my new, unrooted one. I have tried Helium, moving the com.easytech.wc3 folder around, creating Helium backups of a lvl 1 state and then throwing my files into this backup and Helium still doesn't help. Does anyone have an idea of what to do here? Could the ADB help me? I read some posts on here which suggest backing up the apk through lucky patcher and then compressing it with the .sav files, any reports on that working? As I have bought Manstein for wc3, I would greatly appreciate any form of help (also just because I greatly enjoy the game). Thank you in advance!

Not sure about different phones, but at least on the same phone adb once worked fine for me. My save files were damage (or may be something else, but it was level 0 in game) and I restored it with adb from last backup (this happened twice, and after first time I started to make saves from time to time). I think it have to work with different phones too.

Not sure about different phones, but at least on the same phone I think in this situation this is impossible.

I've tried this multiple times through multiple ways. Problem is, I do not want to root my new phone, so I don't have access to the directory where the app data is stored (the root directory called /data/data). There is a folder called Android in internal storage, which features a data/com.easytech.wc3 folder, but transferring all files from my old, rooted device into this folder does not change anything.
I have also tried to do a backup and a restore with ADBs backup function, but the app on the new device is still lvl 1 (and the data/com.easytech.wc3 folder I mentioned ealier is still empty after a resore... Although this folder probably does not change anything anyway...) Another method I tried was Heliums backup with Premium and backing the data up to my google drive and dropbox, but restoring from there keeps my state at lvl one. At this point I have tried so many different ways which have all failed, so if anyone knows another one, Im totally down.

UPDATE: When I transfer the app with Helium, WC3 on my new phone has Manstein unlocked, without me being logged in to google play. Either, it gets unlocked when I download the game from the shop, or the restore function does that. Either way, we've got progress. However no complete restore

Have you tried to copy not only data but whole app?

Well, for restore there are always 3 options:
Restore only apk Restore only data Restore both
I have tried all of these, and all of these failed...

I can't even find the folder com.easytech.wc3 on my phone. It can be found only on rooted phone. If phone isn't rooted, than you can use adb, for me it works saving and restoring data on the same phone.

I think it depends on phobe/android version or something like this. I tried to save from emulator, save file is 41 bytes, for sure there isn't anything. Tried to google for adb backup too small file - google offered search adb backup too small. I think you can try to look there.
