So I heard it suggested you can speed up missions/seducing by changing your time on your device.

I switched it a bit to speed up getting Otto von bismarck. I now have to wait 98 hours for him and the chinese princess, instead of the usual 8 hours. They are at 66% and 74%

I can wait and find out, but I was wondering if this has also screwed up my missions? I can wait 98 hours for my seducing, but I don't want to lose like 600 medals worth of missions.

I hope it reverts to 8 hours...no other princesses active right now.

After the 98 hr time for seducing it will go back to 8hr

I've run out of literature, but if I can't screw it up any worse, then I might as well collect what I need and finish Bismarck and Li too I guess.

From my experience, when you are seducing a general or princess, the current time on your device is stamped and the next seducing will be +8 hours from that. So unless you keep changing the time all the way till you successfully seducing, it is kinda pointless to do that since the total time required will be about the same. In my opinion, this is not worth it if you consider the chance that you might screw up with missions and end up losing medals.
