I have Washington, Alexander, Li Shimin, Barbarossa, Nobunaga, Hannibal, Robin Hood, and some weaker generals. Who should I get next? I'm level 36 in the Empire Age with 1475 medals. I'm trying to get Saladin and Lincoln: Saladin = 68% & Lincoln = 10%

Id suggest since you have high output washigton, maybe consider creating an archer team later on with Nelson. It depands also on playstyle, having a cav general wiyh braveness like atila might help you out. Or you can simply save up your medals for general stars.

Yeah, I upgraded Lincoln to Gunpowder so he would reach his unique form, but I thought him weak and I still do. Barbarossa Is pretty weak IMO So I would suggest leaving him no higher than Empire.
Since you have the apparently amazing Washington, and the Amazing Nobunaga, I'd say you have enough archers. Though to be fair Archers are IMO the best unit in game, and many levels allow 6 or more? generals.
I only use Nobunaga and Catherine, and am going to replace Catherine with either Nelson or Yi-Sun-Sin, so I have no archer that fits the normal anti-cavalry role. You however, have Washington, who will deal 50% damage to Cavalry AND infantry, plus 70% to archers at 6 stars.
Anyway, about Saladin. You need a end-game Cavalry. I use super-hannibal, Attila. I upgraded his braveness to max, which allows him to attack and never get a response. Since unlike Gold Cav Suleiman or the weakling Charlemagne he has the normal weakness to archers, he still suffers heavy damage on their turn. Still, I can't imagine using a Cavalry which gets hit every time he attacks. I really hate when the enemy has this amazing skill.
Saladin has some great skills too, so technically he is end-game, unlike the other free empire mode gens. I think we need someone to post what skill he gets in Industrial age. Atilla? Its Horrible! He gets 80% to infantry, which many generic units have anyway. It almost made me regret buying him.

Your squad is really strong, IMO you don't need any generals, but should instead focus on getting the legendary items. Alternatively, you will need A LOT of medals to upgrade your generals to 4 stars (~750 for gold, ~350 for blue if I remember correctly) so you could start saving up now.

I only have 4 end-game generals (same generals, only Atilla instead of washington) and am saving up for Paladin sword right now. However, I am still planning to buy Richard the lionheart and nelson or Yi-sun shin. As for your second point, its even worse considering gunpowder. Blue is 550, Purple is 1,200, gold is 1,500. I can only imagine what Industrial will be. General Lee is getting so many answers

For industrial is 1650 for purple and varies for for gold from 1800-2000. I will update for grey and blue when I get Conrad and Kemal. EDIT: Blue is 650 and I still haven't got Conrad but who cares about Grey anyway?
