this is my guide for Portugal 1775.
as you can see you start encircled by America in the beginning. what you can also see is that you start with two big ships. use that ships to bombard and take wilmington, same goes for charleston. after this you got beat backed by dutch and french ships. but you got what you needed (= wilminton and charleston). upgrade the cities you got.
Meanwhile conquer the factory, and after this upgrade the factory. use your troops you can create because you got 3 full cities to yorktown and the horse stable. after this head to the small city behind that. upgrade that cities.
head north right now. america ussually don't attack wilmington and charleston. but watch regurly. create a artillery on the factory and make troops out the horsestable. with this troops take baltimore and the nameless town. make horses on the stable to take philadelphia.
after this you and your allies control the northeast and the enemy controls the south and north-east. england will take care of the few american cities left in the north. so the only way you can go is head south. you got enough money to be OP so this won't be hard. create troops out Charleston and Wilmington.
