What do you mean by scripting? Every mission and every conquest (and every multiplayer-scenario) have a separate file that defines all circumstances. These Battle-files (.btl) define position and size of the map, the borders and all countries, installations (cities, trenches, bridges etc.) that can be different for each scenario. They also define all units and generals. There parts of these files, we don't understand by now, but some basic (not-) movements or directions some generals make, must be defined too in these files. Otherwhise there is no explanation, why some generals don't move untill a certain trigger or round. These predefined actions are called scripted. I got this term from one of the good explaining posts of Nobunaga Oda, he explained it better than I can. The campaign uses a lot of these scripting, but even for conquests there seem to be preferences for some units. Most obvious is, that some generals are set to an offensive or defensive (passive) behavior, or wait until they start to move.

One question I have: Did anyone encounter a problem on the first steal ? (Or is it always accepted ?)

First steal is always excepted with a warning. You can steal 1 facility from each ally. Except farms. You can steal farms no penalty and starve out your allies. Be careful marching across friendly territory! You can accidentally starve your allies.

Almost messed that conquest up Coming to stealing, 1 is accepted. 2 can lead to even your loyal allies turning against you. Remember I talked about stealing from Prussia in 1806 conquest as Russia? I've done it again and this time, stealed 2 in same round and they turned against me

I have been playing around with this a lot and it seems like the decision to turn black is random when you turn an ally. Sometimes it's the second facility, Sometimes effectively never, even stealing the last facility won't work. I'm not even sure if the size of the facility makes a difference, you can steal London and get a warning from Wellesley.
Once the country turns black it will randomly change color again after the first attackοΌ sometimes second, third, or 4th. Then again it will randomly change color. By saving and loading you can see that the same actions have different results, meaning it's random. My recommendation? Save and load to get the action you want.

It seems nearly impossible. You need to steal some facilities to turn them. Usually just turning your own main coslition partner makes a big difference. In 1812 if USA turns red, the other countries fall quickly. Thank you for your explanation littlecorporal. Oh yes turning your main ally changes a lot - and can be risky. Even neutral you can't march through their units what jakes ways longer. With my 'dont defend' tactics, changing an ally could be fatal. Green is team #3, even in some campaign missions. I understood that there can be even team #4 with color black. Neutral is then transparent. I can't see the differences on my phone. You should give it a try. 1776 France and 1806 GB are good candidates. I am motivated because I like using every general available in the taverns. It's fun to test their different abilities. Also, with the Princesses it can get boring sometimes. The problem is that the difficulty Level for a 16+ general army needs to be pretty high, besides I feel like defensive battles are more fun because you can use a vastly inferior force to outsmart invading units. The only way to get the difficulty up is by turning as many Allies as you can. This requires some work. Your early round strategy is more about getting units in place to steal facilities than combat. Also, once you turn an ally black everyone attacks and they stop fighting, just a few rounds black knocks most countries out of the game. Since we want a more difficult conquest, It's better to attack black immediately and get them to turn before they are to weak. Then start adding tavern generals and have one country rule the world. I will do a conquest guide someday for a better explanation.
