I noticed that Hannibal is not really cutting it anymore, I was wondering that for empire age, what cav general is the best to get, I've heard good things about atilla and Saladin, but I don't know. Also, I have about 18k medals, and I was wondering how to use them, save them, spend them on skills, buy the boots of Odin, and/or buy the shield of keel?

1. Attila. Excellent cavalry general. He has "Bravery" and "Cavalry commander". At level 6 he has 80% damage bonus against infantry (not an ice-cream, but not that bad either). Could be useful right from beginning, has good synergy with other cavalry generals. Taking into account a fact that he is strong enough to demolish enemy’s units in packs, “Cavalry commander” could be triggered almost indefinitely. The only weakness imo is vulnerability against archers and unexpected AI’s counterattacks.
2. Saladin. Free and effective general. With "Logistics" could be quite immortal when properly used. Could be a sole cavalry general in other team set-ups (for example in archer’s teams). At level 6 has 50% damage reduction from the archers (very useful in unsupported single operations). Very effective in conquests. Weakness is - long and hard hand to hand battles with enemy’s bosses. In these cases historically correct “hit and run” tactic is best suitable for him.
3. Suleiman. He has good stats but in my opinion until level 6 average abilities and skills (rumor is not the best skill for cavalry but not totally useless). But at level 6 he has 40% damage reduction (undoubtedly one of the best abilities for units at level 6). Therefore he is the right man to fight against bosses, but could be easily dry himself out in battles with second rate troops.
4. Blucher. Best team player amongst cavalry units. He could reduce damage for the whole team. At level 6 he has “Plunder” alongside with "Mobility", what makes him very effective in all circumstances (“Armor master” could also be easily triggered). Weakness is that he is somewhat weaker than other top cavalry generals.
Other cavalry generals are obviously not the first choice.

Attila punches hard, but cannot take it in return. All of Saladin, Suleiman and Blucher feel bad when against enemies with Leadership and Rumor. Suleiman takes every punch, and cannot gain any health back. Blucher simply can't even win Asoka and Shingen in output. Saladin conflicts with Blucher, even though he has higher output.

Out of all of them, which would you guys recommend though? We reccomend all of them. You have to choose which one best fits your current team and play style.

Out of all of them, which would you guys recommend though? If You need only one cavalry general in Your team it's either Atilla (Braveness), Blucher (Armor) or even free Saladin. In case You'll have cavalry focused team start with Atilla (because of commander skill).

They are quite expensive so I would recommend you spend your medals on getting good generals, upgrading their stars and important skills like Atillia's braveness or salad's supply before going for the legendary items.

K, already got the paladin sword, but that's fine.
