 This general is useless for me because I no longer need the skills for it. If I discard this eyes covered general does it let me select another of does it just give me 80% of the medals I spent on it back? |

Throw it away. No need to make one in the beginning before you have some good generals. Making a perfect commander costs thousands of medals.

You get 80% medals back, plus a slot opens up for you to add another commander whenever you want. So I can discard Commander German, and switch to Commander England. Although the new commander will be back to basic stats

You can still use the useless generals on mission,to increase the odds of success.
