General EXP fast-leveling.

I will note, before I say this, that EXP goes up by age. You get more EXP in Industrial than gunpowder, gunpowder than discovery, and so on.

In maybe half an hour today I levelled a purple general from 31 to 36. 

I did it in second Aztec mission, discovery age.

Send all or most of your units and generals to the west, to protect the castle. 

Then have your chosen general defend against the enemy landing in the east. You can go on water, but stay by the coast. Kill a bunch, then reload. 

I used Li Shimin on Cannon to weaken the enemy, so my general being trained can kill them in one blow per turn. It is important that the enemy can only attack your chosen gen, as killing them by being attacked on their turn gives EXP. 

BTW, use your best items that give extra experience. I used the full paladin set for 85% more experience. 

What i did wqs just put on the paladin set, go to an old easy campaign with lots of targets and autoplay it. I dunno anymore which campaign but inthebeginning i used 1 that you are in sea you go south and land besides a wall and a target factory, a stable and ahouse. You just stay on the target facory and the ai will attack you non stop
