Just look at the level of blue arrows. The 2nd or 3rd flanker doesn't add another level of morale drop. But it is possible to add another level IF ALL possible surrounding hexes are filled with your units (or allies on your side). Most of the time, a pair of flanking units gives one decrease of morale, and you go ahead and attack it. It's not practical to completely surround a lone unit which ties down too much of your forces. It becomes wasteful. Do morales have levels? If yes than how can I know it? I surrounded a high morale troop but the morale didn't reduced. Is it possible that is morale was +2 then reduced to +1? If so then how can I know the level of positive morale (though I know the negative ones).

Just look at the arrows and how many there are. That's it. That's all. You're overthinking it.

Member groups you mean? Pioneers are basically the first 5 members if I recall correctly. Engineering Corps, modding experts and/or big contributors in that area. Role-playing leaders are a bit variable, either they're on the committee or they're currently hosting a RP game in "World in Flames" the RP board. Illuminati, specific members who made a big, very big, real big amount of contribution in helping this community in various areas. Moderators, global or not global, they're the staff. Hmm, can't think of any other groups. Anyway, there's no WC3 only group, or EW4 only group. Lot of people here do play both (either in the past or currently). Everyone appreciates a good strategy game (not just a dumb tower defense or a fake "RTS" mobile game). Easytech games are kinda rare for real strategy games to exist on GooglePlay or AppleStore. How's the group description? saltin? Good?

The app stores have very little in the form of good Strategy games, especially those which don't cost <$10 (FFT, Pike and Shot, Panzers Corps, I'm looking at you here). Kingturn (more SRPG though), Age of Strategy, Galimulator, Age of Civilizations series, and Strategy and Tactics are all I can think of.

It becomes wasteful. I agree it is impractical to completely surround an enemy before attacking on a regular basis. However, against a particularly difficult unit, encirclement can lock the unit in place, thus preventing its offensive intentions. It is also useful against generals which defend cities. Despphaeus, are you saying that only the first pair of flankers and the final unit in a complete encirclement affect morale? I was hoping it was a cumulative thing, such that each additional flanking pair reduced morale to some extent. Also, does anyone know the actual math behind the mechanic? Last night I was paying attention and my flankers were getting very good results, much better than the 50% I guessed in my previous post.

You would have to ask Erich von Manstein. I don't remember the math. Btw, the bonuses do stack, so like... the unit's 50% bonus against infantries, land that's flat - a general has the skill plain fighting, etc...All of this can converge into an extra strong attack or diverge into a weak attack that couldn't use the benefits of bonuses. There's plenty of factors besides flanking but the flanking is the easiest thing to manipulate than any other. To be honest, I barely pay attention to the math at this point because the WC3 game is so easy for me. The reason, it's too familiar and it has become sorta of muscle memory for me. Sorry about not being helpful with the math, brian333. I'm definitely sure about the non-culminative flanking thing, at least.

I think this have to be quite goo sequence. I just felt ok without Guderian and bought even Vasilevsky before him to proceed with missions and in fact there is a place for infantry general in every campaign (at least almost every, I don't remember for sure). Sure, tank/art gen in appropriate unit could perform better, but infantry gen can be quite useful too. I would prefer to have an infantry general only as 6th one. Sure, to have the best overall results, it's worth to buy infantry gen only when you have Guderian, Govorov and 3 quite good upgraded ECs, possibly even Vatutin too. I just told that it is not required to buy Guderian now, his substitution with Vatutin is ok. I bought Vasilevsky just because for that time it was not a problem to proceed with campaigns without Guderian, but without Vasilevsky it was a problem to proceed with missions. Just forgot to write "Don't try this at home". But note, when I cleared the fastest conquest ever (1939 USSR in 14 turns with lvl 1 ion cannon) I used Vasilevsky and Vatutin was left behind.

Bulgaria and Hungary is easier than Finland for beginners, IMHO. So I would recommend those two when someone asks for an Axis 1-star country in 1939.
