This thing became a random area -_- Here is my real, on topic question. Do we have only 1 person who can ban people? Do we need more? I'd say no, as this is the first time I have seen genuine spam on this forum, to be honest. Ignoring 75% of my posts of course.

What happened was not a spam war (even though it did occur). The other forum was a small group trying to spilt off and survive on their own. They did not build up a community while our community continued to thrive and in the end we outlasted by that reason, not spam.
Creating one's own forum to spit in the eye of another forum that was already well-established is pure childishness and petty pride. It didn't go well for them.

I wasn't around, but this was exactly my conception of the event. Glad to hear it was not a war of extinction, of avenging genocide. a war.... OF SPAM

I will never understand why members make account and spam and get banned.

I will never understand why members make account and spam and get banned. Indeed. I can understand being angry, but he has been gone for what, months? And yet something possessed him, he got angry over slights (imagined or not) from so long ago, and returned.

But the spam war eventually stopped as negotiations started and in the end their site was deleted. MEANWHILE, back home (home as in this site) things were going smooth as nothing had happened (partly because the mods were busy deleting whatever we found from that site (man that was a tough time!)) and partly because the membership didn't highlight it.

What was this "other forum" about? And whose bright idea was that? Someone decided to make a WC3 forum and everyone who supported it using this forum to mention it was more or less banned. I'm lucky I only lost my leg and my wife in that war. R.I.P. Bismarck Jr's Leg and Wife ( ?- ?)

You know what I mean, it did happen but the real reason why EFC is still standing is because of the high quality community and the members being supportive to each other.

After all, I've seen this place go from five boards to fifteen. All thanks to the membership.
