You know what I mean, it did happen but the real reason why EFC is still standing is because of the high quality community and the members being supportive to each other. I hate you too DesoBall. *bows* you're welcome.

After all, I've seen this place go from five boards to fifteen. All thanks to the membership. Man, I barely remember what it looked like back then when I joined a year ago. I think it was around when the Polls and Presentations were still pretty new and of course the Officers' Lounge was simply "Off-Topic Section" and includes the other games inside that I think. And the WC3 area had a odd layout. There wasn't a GoG2 or EW5 board either. Oh and the modification board wasn't there yet. So... around 10ish boards growing to 15.

Well the description did say something along these lines, that's how I thought of it "the off-topic section" lol. Dangnabbit... we're spamming our own anti-spam thread! Jean-Luc Picard, can you save us from ourselves and move all of these non-essential posts to the random area?

*bows* you're welcome. you could've said "same to you" but whatever Nah, its better this way. Desophaeus said we survived by being supportive and what-not, yet my response contained almost 0% of that. DesoBalls "nice" (I'm still fuming) comment added that, putting the lie to me. If thats the correct phrase slightly tweaked.

I remember quickly passing this board around mid-2015 when I was trying to find help to beat Battle of Trebbia, but not staying because it looked too small XD And look how it has grown! I'm sure there's an archive page of the 2015 board somewhere... Edit: Aha! Here it is. web.archive.org/web/20150710010106/http://european-war-4.boards.net/

Spammers are people that have a lot of free time (and I mean A LOT). These people tend to post random garbage a lot on the internet. And you, dear members (new or old) need to know how to combat them; Step One) ignore him. He's here to make fun of people. Don't quote his posts, don't tag him or don't even reply to him (without quoting or tagging). Just leave him alone. Step Two) both on desktop and mobile view there is a cog button on the right side of every post. Click/touch it and select "report post". Say something about it in the report box like "spam" or anything like that and report it. Why should I report? Well, reporting posts quickly notifies all g-mods and admins about it and they can instantly take action about that post. So instead of quoting or replying to the spammer you can do this (which literally takes less than a minute) and the staff will take action on it immediately. Thank you for reading this. Spammers in 70% cases are spam bots made for economical benefit, mostly posts some random to you links
