I was thinking about RPs when I got this idea out of nowhere; a Dip/Dip-based game set in the zombie apocalypse! So, basically, the rules:
- The game starts in 2020 (can be changed) - Map is the modern variant Dip map (can be changed) - Countries for the modern variant Dip map: (depends on the variant/map) UK France Germany Italy Russia Poland Turkey Ukraine Egypt - Every country starts with one army at their capital (modern day) -The zombies start with 5 hordes at random places (perhaps decided by the GM or RNG) -Zombie hordes are both army and fleet, so the can go everywhere. -The zombies can only attack one province/state (in the sense that it is occupied, not a unoccupied captured SC) every movement phase. - Zombies are superior when one-on-one. - All hordes can move (on movements phases), but only into unoccupied territory. - The provinces/states controlled by the zombies are always occupied, even when the hordes move away. - Zombies can't win (Obviously) - After that is normal Dip objective: players win by getting the most Supply Centres or get 18.
Edited, by the way. I'll post the normal Dip rules later, unless someone else want to do it?

So, basically, the rules (including those from Dip that are in the game): - The game starts in 2020 - Map is the normal Dip map, but that can be changed to fit the year it starts. - Countries for the normal Dip map (Modern era): UK France Germany Italy Russia Turkey -Every country starts with one army at their capital (modern day) -The zombies (controlled by the GM for only the first year) start with 5 armies (or hordes, rather) at random places (perhaps decided by the GM or RNG) -The zombies cannot attack at all for the whole game. -The provinces/states controlled by the zombies are always occupied, even when the hordes move away. (So, the 5 hordes move and take over 5 provinces/states, then we have 10 hordes, one at each captured province/state.) -Zombies can't win (Obviously) -Zombies don't move at all after the first year (Outbreak stops! Yay!) -After that is normal Dip objective: players win by getting the most Supply Centres or get 18. I'll post the normal Dip rules later, unless someone else want to do it? I'll suggest that the zombies move. It adds a reason to the zombies instead of being a deluge lite-just acting as NPC enemies/see Switzerlands.

I'll suggest that the zombies move. It adds a reason to the zombies instead of being a deluge lite-just acting as NPC enemies/see Switzerlands. If so, should the zombies be able to attack and should they be in every province/state they entered? Yes. That makes quite a dilemma for the various players: shall they work together to stop the zombie plague, or fight amongst themselves? The zombies should move each Spring and fall until 1904 (or some other year), where the outbreak stops. Zombies can successfully move into any province, with any units being forced to retreat. However, only 1 horde at a time can move.

How about zombies can't support attacks?

How about zombies can't support attacks? GM can pick a random adjacent-to-zombie province. ZOmbies already win any battle they are in, so supporting attacks is not needed. No support holds, and 2-3 per phase might be better.

How about zombies can't support attacks? Wouldn't that make it impossible for them to fight unless: A. Zombies can take over any province they attack A.B Zombies can defeat humans 1 on 1, but are stopped if the region is supported by another human "army" BTW, Im not sure about zombies gaining more units every time they take over a region, but I'm sure others know better than me. I also think this might prove unbalanced, but I'm willing to play. (Maybe make 1 zombie nearby each player country, but not touching the players capital/only region?

Quintus Fabius, Imperial RomeBall, Der Kaiserreich Or make this simpler but scarier: Zombies moves around blindly but if comes into contact with a human unit, there is a risk of contamination/infection spreading to that human unit. Zombies does not differ between fleets or armies, and their corpses can somehow float due to bloated bodies. Zombies also do not rely on SCs to maintain units. Their SCs becomes so infected that only Zombies can enter them safely while alone. So maybe 1 vs 1, it's still just a bounce, but involves a hazard of losing the unit. The supported unit gets medical supplies to avoid being converted. The supported attack works well against pushing back the Zombies. Note: ONLY experienced players should ever participate. This is way too hard for a first-time newcomer.
