(Extension of 1900 Mongolian Turn)
The Tsagaan Khans, the paramilitary of the independence organization of Genghis Bataar, begin harassing Han Chinese and Manchu shops, property, and peoples. Still due to foreign issues, however, the Peking government is powerless to do anything. The Tsagaan Khans, upon hearing of a communist takeover in Serbia, begin what is called the Great Purge of 1900, where members of the Tsagaan Khans would go into the countryside and execute all those who are deemed to be communist or communist sympathizers. While brutal, the Mongolian Communists are essentially exterminated from Mongolia, with the remaining fleeing over the border into either Russia or Qing China. While some Mongols are now opposed to the Genghis Bataar organization, the majority still support the organization due to the desire for an independent Mongolian state and the fact that the heavily religious population is okay with seeing Communist atheists being removed from society.

My turn is done and and posted in the turns thread.
Judging from the turns in the turns thread, it looks like we are waiting on France, Italy and Germany. I'm sure they'll do their turns soon so just be patient for a little longer, guys.

China 1900 Part 1. The Empire of china is ancient, easily older than any Modern European Country. It is vast, smaller only than the Russian Empire, and contains at least 42 million more people than all of Europe. It is headed by the Manchu Qing Dynasty, 256 years old, and foreign to the common folk. It has slowly been outperformed by the Europeans, which now hold extreme advantages, most alarmingly in military technology and training. Even the Japanese, once a tributary, now hold advantage, saved only from conquering Korea by Russian intervention. Recently Austria has taken its place. The Empire has been plagued by the Boxer Rebellion, which opposes European imperialism in China. The motto of its first exponent: fu Qing mie yang (Revive the Qing and destroy the foreigners) The Boxers rebelled, with support in the Imperial court divided. Empress Dowager Cixi declared war on the western powers, while Chinese generals like Baron Ronglu secretly stalled efforts to destroy the Foreigners. 20,000 Soldiers out of the 200,000 strong garrison besieged 900 foreign Militia, and 3,000 Chinese christians in the International legations. While generals like Dong Fuxiang gleefully murdered foreigners, Ronglu denied them the modern artillery needed to destroy the barricades, and the artillery was later destroyed by Russian troops. Throughout northern China, crimes have been committed. 30,000 Chinese christians, and hundreds of missionaries, have been murdered. This caused an international army 50,000 strong, and 200,000 Russians, to invade China. China has suffered horrible setbacks. The capital was taken by Foreigners, the Dowager empress seized, and the ancestral Manchu lands in the north destroyed by a Russian invasion, eroding Imperial power. Even the Mongols are rising. Laurent de Gouvion , IRL Dowager empress Cixi fled the capital before the Foreigners arrived, and did not return for 18 months afterwards. I assume in this Alt-history you captured her in time.

China 1900 part 2.
With the Fall of Peking and Cixi, moderation in the imperial court fails. Dong Fuxiang, a non-muslim Chinese general in command of Hui Muslims from the west, and who has murdered many foreigners, is given leave to continue fighting. He is declared General under Heaven.
The Capital is moved to Xi'an, or Chang'an, beyond western mountains that protect it from European incursion. (hopefully)
The army is currently 650,000, and is planned to reach 1,000,000 at some point. Military reform is started, but will take a long time to bear fruit, time Qing does not have.
A saying invented after the invasion is: "The people are afraid of officials, the officials are afraid of foreigners, and the foreigners are afraid of the people" The government broods on this.
In any case, many in the government believe it was traitors that allowed the capital to fall, and that the interior is impenetrable (the confederates had the second half of this same belief lol)
While industry is small, it plans to produce the Model 1 Rifle for use by conscripts and guerillas, which is a single-shot native produced fire-arm considerably weaker than any rifle used by Europeans, even Greece.
The Government still has supporters to stand down. It wonders, what are the demands of the foreigners?
CHINESE REGIONS STILL CONTROLLED AND ORDER OF BATTLE
2 Far North: half of Inner Mongolia (10,000 men) Port Arthur (40,000)
3 North: Hebei, west and east Shanxi (250,000) (Hebei borders international force)
4 East: Shandong, Jiangsu-Anhui, Fujian-Jiangsi, shanghai (125,000 soldiers, 25,000 militia)
5 South-central: Guangdong (borders Hong Kong) Hainan Island, Henan, Hubei, Hunan-Guangxi (100,000 soldiers, 25,000 militia)
5 Northwest: Shaanxi (capital region) Gansu-Ningxia, Qinghai, west and east Xinjiang (50,000 soldiers, 50,000 militia)
5 Southwest: west and east Tibet, Yunnan, chongqing-Guizhou, Sichuan (75,000 soldiers, 50,000 militia)
Thus, a total of 24 regions are occupied by 650,000 soldiers and 150,000 militia. Total: 750,000 men.
Compare to Greco-Romania with 11 regions and 370,000 men.
Regions that go west-east or north-south count as 2 regions. Regions that have names combined A-B count as 1.

Imperial RomeBall, doesn't Russia own Port Arthur? The expedition troops came from there, after all. I would accept it more if the 40,000 troops sre besieging Port Arthur, not garrisoning it.
