I build a princess in Berlin, unfortunately I do not have enough gifts and I ended up with a time limit, what does this mean?

There is supposed to be a time limit. Any gift out of the three can only gain several percentage points, with the Princess being yours at 100% Picture of where I am with one of the last princesses:  |

I cant give gifts due to fact I wasted loads of it in building princess and I have not enough, that means I will have to rebuild her when time ends and I lose my resources spent to build her? |
