So I'm playing GoG again, I've got my Commander to the gold stripes (the one where I have 2 medals in everything) and I've just unlocked North Africa. I'm wondering who to buy, I'm considering Kule for his relatively cheap pice and tank medals or Dietrich for his three medals in artillery.
What do those more wise than myself think?

I wouldn't recommend both of them.
Since tanks are the best in GoG, I would recommend Vatutin but Weygand who is cheaper would be fine as well.

I wasn't going to go for Vatutin because he's so expensive and it will take me years to get him but I suppose I could save for him.

Farm medals on Scicily campaign in legion mode with Patton or Rommel. I got Vatutin by playing on Scicily with Patton. I saved my game once I defeated Rommel and then I just keep loading that scenario and winning the match. Got me about 10-15 medals per game but that's pretty much how farming works in gog :/
