Anyone else find that the game evolves far quicker than you? I'm level 46, getting battles in Empire mode that I can't even come close to beating, and my task bar in Empire mode is filled with incomplete-able things. Yet, for some daft reason, I'm still in the Empire era. Is this just me?

In my opinion, the literature isn't that bad. Maybe make it so you can earn it a bit more easily. Either way, I just feel as if they should make leveling up harder. Balance it out with Empire mode, you know?

2be honnest I think its well balanced. Yes the 1st 250 literature is a bit harsh if your quick but after this I really thing easy tech should receive a compliment for the balanced increase in skills and evolution

I think it might be unbalanced with some players getting harder missions in empire mode than they can handle. The thing is for players who played the game when it was released there was a level cap at 40 and max age was empire. This allowed us to gather literature and gold from missions and invasions without them getting harder missions. If there was a problem with the increase in level to the player's general than older players would unlikely to have experienced it but newer players would.

Don't worry about that the higher you go the longer it takes to get the literAture and the medals for upgrades

My level, more than certainly, wasn't capped out at 40, hence missions getting unrealistically hard. I haven't been able to complete a single one since level 42-ish (by missions,I mean those invasion things that come with missions). That just doesn't feel right.

I do remember when I could not do them either. I am in gunpowder and now they are possible to do for awhile they are too hard to do I just wish WE could control our generals no AI

The end goal, I would assume, is a Game people (people in general) keep playing, like EW4 is still played. Thus this would be an issue. As for me, I got the game, and I believe Industrial was updated just before I reached THAT block. No pile of Literature for me.

Difficulty with Invasions seems to come and go.
Right now I'm in the level 90s, with all level 4 generals except Bismarck, and I just Barely fail the invasions. Some I can complete.

And btw invasions (and other missions too) can differ great from time to time. I mean, that there are abilities which could change situation a lot every time you are playing the same invasion. For example, I have Bismarck and Peter with "Rumor". It could work only once or it could work 5 times during the mission. And, as you understand, situation changes dramatically and sometimes even drastically...

Just lost all five of my new ones. I love fighting gunpowder+ generals with tier 3 generals.
