I ran into a level 6 Washington in invasions recently. Did 1000 damage to one of my units.

Or was that Li Shimin level 6....In any case I lost.

You will only face him in invasions I think. Good luck with Artillery-they have low attack in general. Then again, Archers have low defense.....But washington has gold level stats, plus defense master, which the AI would likely upgrade.

I wish Bismarck had his destroy melded with Siege, similar to what Washington and Napoleon get. Upgrading him to level 6, only to replace no retaliation with bonus against cavalry, isn't really worth it.

I will start working on an upgrade path suggestion for you.

And I do believe before they updated Washington did not have strafe at 6, so he was hugely nerfed

I would say: upgrade first those generals, who will gain significantly more at lvl 6 (than at lvl 5) - Nobunaga, Li Shimin, Lionheart... Though Washington as your best unit could be first... Be sure you have 1.2.2 update (ET fixed information about Washington's abilities in it)
