I was thinking about a WC3 mod called "Leaders in Power: Glory of Soldiers" and it was made by a Chinese modder.
If the title sound so bizzare... it's supposed to be less bizzare in native Chinese. I'm told that nonsensical titles in Eastern Asian languages are supposed to have some kind of a rhythm or certain visual patterns whatever. Either that or they're a tad obessive about random word generators, I really don't know.
Japanese RPGs are extremely infamous for their wacky titles.

Not necessarily just east asian, though they are certainly the worst to my knowledge. I read the Quran in English, but I read that some passages in the Quran are supposed to be more beautiful and rhymey in the original Arabic. The flow and design is lost in translation it is said. Thus in an article I read, one translator is said to be better as they make an effort to keep the construction. Edit: Ah darn, I necroposted. I was looking to see if we had got to the "old fritz" part in the epic rap battles of history thread. |
