I've got a lvl 30 Alexander, lvl 30 Nobunaga, Lvl 30 Cleopatra, Lvl 30 Joan, lvl 20 Robin, lvl 10 Hannibal (or a lvl 10 Huo QuBing if you want).
I saved up +/- 3.6k medals, at 40% for Babarossa, not gonna have enough for 10% Saladin, and still lacking literature to upgrade to Discovery Age.
Looking at a couple of forums, many recommend having Atilla and/or Li ShiMing, what should I do?

Attila, on the other hand, is an excellent attacking unit, but somewhat weak in defense. I think that he could work well together with Blucher, but, again, some experienced players do not share this point of view :-) Maybe free generals like Barbarossa and Saladin are top priority for you now... You should, first of all (I will use analogy with sport teams), create an image of your future team, and then to look for players, and not the other way round... |

If I would restart without IAPs:
Atilla, saladin, alexander, nobunaga, nelson, li hongzang, moctazuma, li shimin and bismarck

Something like the German forces in the Blitz. |

Nobunaga Oda, I think you should buy Atilla and leave Hannibal behind. And I advice you to do conquest to collect literature rather than trying hard for campaign when your team still not strong enough. Nobunaga at discovery age get amazing ability (I forget the name) that enable extra 50% bonus attack against all his enemy

Nobunaga at discovery age get amazing ability (I forget the name) that enable extra 50% bonus attack against all his enemy Mass fire. Double shot=Initial damage, plus a fraction. Meaning, he deals a LOT of damage on top of his de-buffs. There's a reason why he is the only general able to contend with Washington. |
