So COD WW2 is being revealed on the 26 of April. It is said that the developers were working on it for the past three years. The question is, will it beat BF 1?
We all know CoD has been going downhill for the past 5 or 6 years, will this game do any good?
I just want some Eastern and North African stuff, enough with the West already!

We all know CoD has been going downhill for the past 5 or 6 years, will this game do any good? I just want some Eastern and North African stuff, enough with the West already! Call of Duty World at War actually had a lot of Eastern stuff. Half of it (roughly) had you playing as a Russian solider on the Eastern Front and half of it had you as an American Marine in the Pacific. But yes, I would like to see more Eastern Front stuff and North Africa. I hope that this will make Call of Duty Great again but I'm not getting my hopes up to much.

I though don't completely oppose the Western Front. Fall of France and Benelux are always welcome. Maybe some Scandinavian stuff too?
And we're totally forgetting the middle east, the campaigns against Syria and Iraq. No one talks about them (I cry).

Playing as belgians would actually be a powerful story, and normal for the type of game.

Call of Duty going back to WWII made me interested in the Call of Duty series once again.

Although minor, I hope to see action in the Middle East. Sure, they were really small, but were vital since this campaign gave the Soviets a route (or at least, provided safety for the route) for supplies sent by the Allies from the Lend Lease Act.

Underwhelming after seeing the trailer live.
Only Americans and Germans. D-Day all over again and the Battle of the Bulge, one level as a woman in the French Resistance.
That's it.

I'm watching this closely, but not looking to far into what they say. Hype is the biggest killer of games.

Yeah that does suck. Despite their one extreme historical mistake, Battlefield 1 was good in going everywhere. This? Really? If I wanted to do D-Day I would boot up a game 10 years old instead. What they should have done is expand it, try to mimic Battlefield 1's success. Maybe there is time to change it for the better. Velvet Assassin, while not about a resistance member, is an entire game about a woman fighting behind the lines, and it goes from France to Poland. Edit: one could say a level about a FEMALE member of the French resistance, is a super lazy attempt at a progressive and fresh scenario. Despite not being fresh I imagine. At least, thats what I'm saying.
