I hope this expression has a positive connotation :-):-):-) Yup The sad thing is that it's a bit tedious to wrap up a game. The beginning and the middle is definitely fun tho! It's a bit like RPG/Risk or RPG/Civ I ended up with way too much gold and castles to manage when there's only two enemy kingdoms left to conquer. To add: this game is definitely broken. A heavy cleric-based hero with strong team-based talent layout will easily plow through endless waves of high-high-level generals with max 20 armies each. Or a heavy mage-based hero spamming summons of the dead along with spamming lighting/fire spells could wipe out an entire max 20 army without any damage to the hero or his army (other than the summoned dead warriors which will just go away after the battle anyway).

stoic, I don't know if you have ever played a good game from the 90s. A DOS game called Master of Magic. It's quite more geared towards Civ-style than Might and Magic, but still posses a very in-depth combat system with a spell system so unlike anything else. A warning, the graphics are pretty terrible but fairly manageable. If you ever played Civ1 in the 90s, you will definitely feel a strong similarity in the grpahics.

Now I'm playing the last game I mentioned "The samurai war". Well, battles are a bit schematic, but diplomacy is very important in the game... Rare thing today...

Okay if you get MoM (not free btw, on GoodOldGames site), the included manual is inadequate. Peruse this fan-made wikia instead: masterofmagic.wikia.com/wiki/Master_of_Magic_Wiki
