Hey,
I've been playing a good while now but I was wondering if there was a way to have more than 6 generals in a battle. I know in the HQ you can store many of them, but when you go into games at the start it'll have the commander symbol and an x6 and once you put the 6th general on you cannot equip any more.
A secondary question is that I was wondering if the "fire/burning" effect actually does anything. For example, sometimes when you get an arty strike or something the hexagon you hit will have a burning animation.
Appreciate all answers!

1. No, in all campaign and conquest of this game the maximum amount of generals is 6.
2. The burning effect does damage over time, but its really insignificant and not really important. Don't know the exact number but i thought it was like 5 or so.

To add, there seems to be two levels of burning flames, one smaller, one bigger. But like NetherFreek said, it's not particularly significant and it doesn't last indefinitely.

Actually, I can have a major fire burn from around turn 10 all the way to the end of a conquest. How does one get rid pf fire though?

It just randomly rolls to see if it goes down or disappear completely. Just ignore it, or walk around it. Sometimes, I do walk around it if I still have the same tactical advantage on a neighboring hex but without the burning damage. If it's still the best spot to move your unit to it, I would just go ahead and put it into there then on the next turn, move out of there, carrying on the fight as if the fire wasn't there.
