sSpeaking of loadouts and scaling...
Funny, I was too used to LoL's terminology. Lifesteal tend to imply that as you hit the enemy for damage, a certain % of that amount will be added back to your health. I was playing a very well-made indie game for Android (possibly iOS too idk). I found some rare items that gives you lifesteal, at first it seems to be really effective for my mage character who does tons of AoE damage and AoE stuns. I was constantly healed while dealing out spells.
I hit a minor snag, it turns out that every stat you see on the items are never scaling on something (including the lifesteal which hypothetically is supposed to be based on your attacks). So every time I hit an enemy (count only once even if hitting a full crowd with AoE), I heal at a flat amount of health.
This becomes slightly problematic when the enemies are starting to deal out enough damage to strip the equivalent of the 3/4 of your HP for a frail mage.
Back to the drawing board... *sigh* I thought I found a sweet setup.
I suppose the flat stats makes everything easier on the devs. I'm just having a lingering "hungover syndrome" in thinking of terms from a perspective of playing LoL which rely on scaling so MUCH instead.

are you kidding me? Talking too much? This is why reserved posts can be useful (some other people don't seem to understand and abuse them excessively tho) I forgot to add... CONGRATS! You managed to actually touch the char limit for a post in here. 262,144 char max limit... Hmm, that's incredibly generous. I used to be on a forum that could only handle posts up to 10,000 chars, so this is like 26 times of that!

Apparently they meant it literally just that amount, nothing related to how much power you have in your damage output (although your attack speed would affect how often you get healed). The lifesteal don't even stack for each enemy you're hitting... which is kinda counterproductive for an AoE based mage (the dungeons tends to go swarm-heavy so you have no choice but to build toward AoE as a mage).

That's where I'm at now, have to extinguish 3 flames to open up the Keep. I'm mostly running through the goop getting all of the side items currently. Ice-based knight? What area? I might have fought him. Are you referring to the one that's right before the swamp? That guy killed me a couple times. Him and the Black Knight gave me the most trouble. Good luck with that then. Be interesting to hear how you do the boss- what weapons and such are you using? Its the guy at the bottom of the elevator I think. Probably just before the swamp, or before the spot that leads to it. If I remember right his sword doesn't even fit my character, or at least it has some weakness I don't like. Thx for response. I beat the Watchers on my first attempt. I let the traitor one fight one while I went 1v1 against the other one. Only had to use about 2/8 flasks. The flaming one almost killed me a few times but overall it wasn't too bad. I also sped through the Cathedral and beat the Deacons with Anri and Horace's help. On to the catacombs. The Deacons were incredibly easy as I have a ring that gives me health after successive hits. Since there is about 50 of the Deacons in that enclosed space, I was regenerating tons of health each swing. Plus my two companions were going crazy on the rest of the Deacons. Didn't use a single flask on that. I use whatever shield I pick up. I believe I am using the Black Knight shield.

You know your way around this type of game, despite not playing the series before. That is the correct strategy, but I don't like the waiting period when the traitor dies and needs to respawn. Whats the worst boss to you yet lol? Storyline spoiler for around the deacons area. I talked to the fleshy mother of rebirth woman in the deacons area, and thus annoyed permanently this woman who appears in the area you return to. Bad move

I would say the tree gave me the most trouble mostly because I couldn't find its weak spots. Although I know the worst is yet to come. I've heard stories of the Dancer of the Boreal Valley.

I did help out people early on who wanted summons for fighting the second boss (Vordt) Little did I know, the Dancer of the Boreal Valley is actually located nearby, and thus you can be summoned for it. So.....I ended up trying to help some people kill her, and I died pathetically quickly. Ok everybody. You can laugh at ole Byz now.

There is an exploit that you can use to kill the Dancer really early. It involves glitching and AI exploitation though, so I don't want to do it. The generic enemies are alright. A select few I can't stand. The little imps that jump down from the walls for instance. Also the enemies in the swamp, specifically the ones that jump in the air and stomp on you. The fat witches are also a pain if they have help. 1 on 1 they are easy. I suppose that goes for most of the enemies in the game actually

United Carolinas is already a thing in NFL. The Carolina Panthers isn't NC or SC but for both Carolinas. This is where my joke to Von Bismarck jr is coming from. Plus he's a Panthers fan, so the recent loss in the Superbowl against the Broncos was painful for him.

Then again, will Superbowl exist in a CSA world? Would Union accept a union of Carolinas if it conquers the CSA? SO MANY QUESTIONS
