So, I just upgraded to Empire age and was wondering which generals I should upgrade to 3 stars. Generals are Alexander, Robin, Hannibal, Huo Quobing, Cleopatra, Barbarossa and Leonidas.
Also, which others generals should I buy?

Alexander and Cleopatra are worthy to upgrade. And either Hannibal or Huo. Preferably Huo, logistics skill is (imho) more useful than braveness.
In case you don't have Saladin, try to get him (he is in Medina city - tavern, and only cost resources, not medals). He is one of the best cavalry generals, especially in Imperial and Discovery age. Thanks to his logistics he is also useful in conquests.
Don't upgrade Robin and Leonidas. Barbarossa is useful only if you go infantry line-up
For new generals, first and foremost, buy Nobunaga. He is one of the most useful archers (can lower both attack and defense of the enemy).

Keep going with Cleopatra and other guys. Get Nobunaga for sure, maybe Moctezuma if you want(you will choose one between Moctezuma, Catherine, Jebe and Yi Sun-sin). Saladin is a solid pick also. |
