Hi,
I am finally on Industrial age (thanks to huge amount of literature in Nobunaga and Nelson campaign). I upgraded several generals to 6 stars, and now the daily invasions are better.
BUT: I've done East India Company (Columbus bonus mission) barely for one star, now I am trying to redo it, but I am completely hopeless.
Generals: Saladin 6 stars, Alexander 5, Nobunaga 6, Jhansi 6, Bismarck 5, Li Shimin 5, Huo Qubing 6, Barbarossa 5
The progress is much easier, until the final object. There emerges an enemy general with freaking stats (attack/defense 2500/1800 or so), and kills my generals one by one.
When I was on Discovery age, I tried this level several times, until I managed it with one star, but I swear there wasn't such a monster general.
So, is it possible that the game raises the difficulty of campaigns regarding to player's age level?

I believe that you should've swapped your Huo QuBing out.

The campaigns mighn't be related to player levels. I think player gens should naturally become more powerful to have more success in campaigns.

Well, it is also possible that the enemy general was there always, but I haven't "triggered" him before. So now just to know how not to trigger him...

I'd have to check the level, but there shouldn't be any new general. Never heard of that happening.
However It IS possible you triggered an enemy you never noticed.
