I'm new player and i like this game very much. And i have some question about game mechanics. 1. Does sailor skill work with ships and carriers? Or only with land units on water?
2 I add my general to the carrier. What stars will upgrade carrirer's damage(Navy or Air)? And will wolfpack ability work?
2.I cant find information about moral influence(positive and negative morale). How much morale affects unit damage?
3.Does arty units count as armored? Or its another unit's type?

Or its another unit's type? 1) Do not apply Naval skills to gens or ECs, 70 - 80% of the game takes place on land and you'll need land skills to effectively deal with aliens in 1975. You can get Ozawa first. 2) Air stars are THE MOST IMPORTANT part of carriers because carriers are the ONLY units able to surpass the 2-hex range max limit by using air power. You'll need navy stars to counter attack 1-hex range attackers but if you don't intend on sending carriers on suicide rams and guard/manuever carriers well, the navy stars are not too important. 3) Do NOT use wolfpack. You'll be rolling on land more than you'll be sailing at sea. Just get Ozawa if you are inexperienced with naval fights. 4) Morale are the yellow/white/blue/dark blue eagles(?) and arrows that appear at the top right corner of units. If it points up, it means the unit has done something major and gains morale. If it points down, it means the unit is surrounded/flanked/something bad happened and so loses morale. To flank a unit, imagine 2 opp units create a tic-tac-toe line with your unit in the middle. Thus, your unit is flanked.
