I remember European war 3 was the only WW1 game Easy tech made and I was quite fond of it when it first came out so will they make another??

I like how you pointed out EW3, as I was about to say how they already have.
They have also covered ww1 in EW5, with a conquest and several short campaigns set before or during it. Out of the 6 eras in the game, its the one called "Industrial"
Its like EW3 in including events prior to ww1, both covering the multiple power intervention in China.
Anyway it seems that ww1 is a topic that sometimes up up in their European War Franchise, and since they often recycle times shown before, I imagine the company will make another if it survives long enough.
Can't be sure. As EW5 was multiple eras, perhaps they won't make one devoted to ww1 again. But who knows, I wouldn't call it very unlikely.

Plus the games set elsewhere (GOG ace is bad example as it flopped, but 3KC wasn't so bad) or partially in something else (WC3) I do agree that they focus extremely and repeatedly on WW2, albeit an important war. The question of them making more games based on non-ww2 subjects is a certain yes provided the company survives for a bit. Now will they make another game based on ww1? Maybe, particularly if only partially. But we could be waiting a long while. |

However you are correct somewhat in calling it "something stupid" as its choice of cartoonish graphics is a departure. Plus the conquest is not an improvement, though its better than 3KC "conquest". Not all valid games in valid series avoid going backwards in one or 2 aspects though. |

No, but seriously, they probably won't for a while.
There's BJ's WWI mod for EW4 though, which I highly recommend and will remake my guides for it in the near future, if you want the closest thing we have to another E-tech WWI game.
