I beat 1950 as Britain, I sent ALL of my european armies to scandinavia to help norway and Sweden, fought off the soviet attack(by killing their generals) then in Asia I tried my best to hold the Chinese off for some time but was eventually overrun by them then I invaded the baltics and quickly took european USSR, then I moved east to take over china, to win all you need to do is seize europe or asia and then you will have enough resources,(early on build nukes to deal with generals, expect your generals to be killed by nukes

Those were the noob days. Then now, in my second run of WC3, UK is easy cuz I got used to the system. Ps: when I play as UK, I ATTACK/DEFEND ACROSS ALL OF EUROPE, which is possible as well as INVADING SOUTHERN CHINA VIA INFANTRY & ARMOURED CAR concurrently. It depends on experience. |

Or you can play as USSR with direct advantage over US.
In Europe, ATTACK ACROSS THE ENTIRE CONTINENT! Or focus on the Low Countries first. Anglo-Frank stiff resistance is gonna last some time and when it ends, usually Spainish-Portugese reinforcements arrive. Nukes are key to taking cities fast and killing powerful gens.
In Asia, Yekateringburg and everything east move south into Asia. Yekaterinburg troops to comandeer PRC towns and stuff. The others to head for both Koreas.
In Asia, the fleet you have is small, so make sure you target specific troops and reinforce when in trouble. Also, build landfort beside the port in that jutting out land where Japs will always paratroop onto. This is how you resist them without an actual force.
All of Korea is a good base, if still unable to take them, deploy small force to Taiwan to take it (usually impossible cuz PRC overruns it FAST)
Nuke US reinforcements if too powerful.
Ps: send a sub or destroyer to capture ports to earn money and reduce naval resistance.
Africa is easy. Cuz US troops are underpowered. Hit them fast and hit them HARD. Then slowly build up against Brazil. Or try to retake Cuba with naval support. (Note: if US gen is in/around Cuba, try to sink him with subs when he gets onto a transport.)

Isn't PRC the homeland of a certain company plus the CWE favours WTO right?!" However, that is possible as I've seen Japanese cities left epmty before in 1950 conquest and I was playing as UK, I think. Only Osaka fell. Chances of this occuring SHOULD be low but hey, if the risk is worth it, then NUKES AWAY! If you decided to not start a Chinese campaign, it's also fine as long as you win in the end. |
