Hello there, im new in this forum, which i found from someone mentioning it on facebook. Good that it exists and there's some activity on it still. I have a doubt, I'll briefly explain my situation:
I just hit Discovery Age (after repeating 5 times the Classical Conquest with Greece to farm the 250 literature), and Im stuck in "Invasion of Europe" (4th campaign mission) of the Mongol Empire in the Empire Age. So I wanted to develop further my level of heroes, expecially one I just bought thought as my siege troop and for Conquest, due its "Logistics" ability, one of the most broken abilities imo (chance of healing whenever they kill a troop), of Li Shimin. However, he is very weak as he is still level 11 and i want to raise him.
My team:
Washington (lvl 40, he is stuck there from long time ago) Genghis Khan (lvl 31, i recently promoted him and want to raise him as well) Alexander (lvl 31, same as with Genghis) Robin Hood (lvl 31, same) Li Shimin (lvl 11, very weak but with plenty of potential imo, as when i had to pick one, his stats were good compared to the rest, but he was just lvl 11, so he can grow more than the rest) Those 5 are the ones i use for conquest. I give Genghis and Alexander the "Lucky Crown" item that gives them 15hp regeneration, crucial for Conquest mode.
For 8 heroes needed quest, this are my fill-in heroes:
Hannibal (lvl 30, i did not upgrade him as im running low on medals after the Li Shimin upgrade, and even though his stats would increase slightly, his passive ability will be worse, as Stomp > Assault Huo Qubing (lvl 27, he is not very good, but its the best of what i have left) Yoshitume (lvl 27, i dont even have decent equipment for him, he only has sword and boots of travel)
Which is the best campaign quest that can be easily repeated in auto to farm up exp (or if there's another way to farm exp, please let me know)? Sadly i discovered that Conquest gives no exp whatsoever. And is Napoleon worth the 10 bucks he cost? He is more expensive than Genghis and Washington, but seems weaker...
Thanks in advance!

Firstly, welcome to the EasyTech Fan Community & forum! Secondly, your general line-ups are made of gens from all over the place. Please refer to this thread to finalise your line-up as it will affect how you will play and fight. european-war-4.boards.net/thread/5834/ew5-all-generals-analysisNext, try to use campaigns you can win easily/with some effort even if you replace gen xyz. These campaigns should be as close to or from Discovery Age. Meanwhile, what are the equipment you have? As in number of purple and gold equipment and full sets. Gold items in a set should be used on same gen. Items with hp recovery should be used on important gens with low HP &/or Def. However, ditch your blue gens. There exist purple gens which do not need medals to recruit. Blue and grey gen stats pale as compared to purple and gold gens. You should farm to have Nobunaga, a powerful debuffing archer gen that more efficent with Ashigaru double attack/mass fire/(insert correct unit skill). Lastly, you may refer to this thread if you are stuck in that naturally hard mission and have fun waging war! european-war-4.boards.net/thread/4116/campaign-conquest-overview-empire-attack

"Secondly, your general line-ups are made of gens from all over the place."
Does that matter? Do they get bonuses from belonging to the same kingdom or something? I took the stronger stats-wise as I guess those will be the ones that will perform the best. That link carried me to an analysis that I did not quite understand about the generals. It just shows the stats and abilities? But is napoleon worth it? The other 2 surely were, I'm very happy of those purchases, but not sure if I will with Napoleon, his unit type (cannon) seems bad, as he cant self defense and even thought, he has a huge hp pool, he doesnt seem that good. About items... I only have 1 golden, as I only bought 1 lucky crown and the rest was obtained through the campaign or with achievements (I have several purple ones)
I dont think my main question was answered. Best quest to farm exp? I cant do much in the Empire section as it has already outleveled me (mainly through the "Mission" ones (where you have to send 3 or 4 heroes to do a mission that lasts 90 seconds) and now, the invasions, defenses and so, are hella hard, as the enemy commanders are stronger.
The link to how to beat that quest the only useful thing IMO. Ill try it again from what I learnt from there. Thanks for the intention tho, but i would like some answers that help.

Hi m8,
Probs its because I am no native english speaker but your last message seems a bit out of place. Probably its not what you ment, though!
As you may have seen scrolling through the enormous amount of data we provided here all info on your question can be found on this thread. I understand it a lot of reading but our kind member anove gave you direction towards you could find some answers.
You asked a lot of questions in once and instead of andweri g them all he pointed out that maybe your questions should be a bit redirected
For xp gaining on generals there is also a topic in here. Important thing to do is just replay a specic campaign with only that general wearing the most xp gaining equipment. Scourge of god 2 and the li shimin campaign 2 i used.
Sincerely

At the end the best stage was the second from the first campaign of the first era. You pick the commander, and just when the game starts, he was in position to hit and kill 3, restart and repeat, for 21 fast easy exp. However, when he made it to lvl 20, I was very disappointed to see how he upgrades from the really strong fire dragon to... catapult... Its so sad >.>, i was expecting something that wasnt so bad tbh.
PS: im no native-english speaker neither, but I think my English is understandable, like yours.

Okay. I also found that the battle of agnicourt is a good way to get exp. I got li shimin up from lvl 27 to lvl 29. Thanks for the help!

The best and easiest way to farm EXP is daily missions. You equip best exp increase item on your generals, deploy him into mission, change time of your phone to next day and repeat for every mission you have That's the way I make my gen get 20.000 exp per day

You can finish missions quicker, so you can finish mission one by one and get ton of exp for your new general. You can't get more missions with this trick and can't get missions of next day either.
